On-site Orthopedic Care for Local Pop Warner and Cheer Teams

For the past five years, Dr. Plakas has volunteered to provide on-site orthopedic medical care for the AYF Rumson-Fair Haven Dawgs Pop Warner Cheer and Football teams.

Orthopedic Residency Surgery Program at Monmouth Medical Center

As a Clinical Assistant Professor at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, Dr. Plakas is actively involved in the Orthopedic Residency Surgery program at Monmouth Medical Center, ensuring the next generation of orthopedic surgeons develop unparalleled operative experience. Over the past five years, he has also helped countless children in need at the pediatric orthopedic clinic at Monmouth Medical Center.
