Dr. Plakas has admitting privileges at seven hospitals, with access to imaging completed at RWJBarnabas Health and Hackensack Meridian facilities. He is the only board-certified fellowship trained pediatric orthopedic surgeon on staff at Centrastate, Community, Monmouth Medical Center Southern Campus and Southern Ocean Medical Centers.
Coastal Pediatric Orthopedics accepts most insurances. We are happy to contact your insurance company on your behalf to check your benefits, whether they be in-network or out-of-network. We know unexpected accidents can happen – we never balance bill our patients for any amount your insurance company does not cover. Beyond primary insurance, we also offer self-pay rates, as well as accept secondary insurance plans through athletic and school programs.
